whatwatt Go is the small device that allows you to access your electricity consumption data in real time.
To do this, first connect your whatwatt Go to your smart meter and your home network via WiFi or Ethernet LAN cable. whatwatt Go then reads the electricity consumption data and sends it to the whatwatt app and, if necessary, to a compatible service such as the myStrom app or your energy supplier's app/portal.
whatwatt Go is compatible with smart meters from Ensor, Iskraemeco, Kamstrup, Landis+Gyr, Sagemcom, Semax, NES and Meter+Control.
Installing whatwatt Go is very simple, as is connecting it to the Internet.
You can choose between Ethernet and WiFi. To improve WiFi reach (e.g.in deep basements), whatwatt Go even has an external antenna.
With the whatwatt app you finally know how much electricity your household actually uses and when. With this knowledge, you can optimize your own consumption and save energy. The whatwatt app is also an interface with which you can communicate your data to other popular services such as myStrom and SolarManager. Those services offer additional functions for optimizing self-consumption, such as automatic switching of devices or the optimal use of solar power.

Das Gerät ist sehr gut - Primeo weniger
Das Gerät funktioniert wie versprochen und die Einrichtung mit der App ist sehr durchdacht. Man wird sinnvoll durch einen Prozess geführt. Leider musst ich das dann 4x machen, weil Primeo fast drei Wochen gebraucht hat um den Zähler für die Datenauswertung freizugeben. Das ist defintiv keine Empfehlung. Kommt noch dazu, dass obwohl ich das Gerät im Primeo Shop kaufe, separat bei Primeo eine Anfrage machen muss, um die Schnittstelle freizugeben. Whattwatt zeigt die Daten Live, pro Tag/Woche/Monat an und mit den diversen Abos kann man das Teil in ein grösseres Ökosystem einbinden. Die Antenne ist übrigens sehr gut. Ich habe das Gerät vor der Eingangstür in einem Kasten und der WiFi Empfang funktioniert trotzdem. Bravo!

Hat auf Anhieb gerade funktioniert
Habe den whatwatt an den Zähler und Internet angeschlossen und über den USB noch etwas Strom gegeben. QR code gescannt und siehe da, ich sehe sofort meinen Stromverbrauch in Echtzeit im App oder über die Webseite. Hat auf Anhieb geklappt.

Ich habe noch nicht alle Funktionen im Griff. Habe Probleme mit der Anzeige von Hoch- und Niedertarif. Ob die App myStrom auch gebraucht wird und für was habe ich noch nicht herausgefunden. Sonst soweit in Ordnung.

Mehrwert noch ausbaubar
Das Produkt läuft und zeigt Daten an. Aber gut wären noch Plug&Play-Geräte, die wirklich Mehrwert bringen, wie z.B. eine Batterie für eine Plug&Play-Solaranlage.
