The GS522 is a photoelectric smoke alarm device. It reacts sensitively and reliably to slow swelling fires that produce thick, black smoke at low heat before open flames develop. The red LED flashes once every 50 seconds to indicate operational readiness. When the battery is low, a periodic beep sounds, which can be deactivated for 10 hours by pressing the mute button. In the event of an alarm, all detectors trigger the alarm tone and can be switched off together by pressing a mute button. At least one smoke detector should be installed in every room of the house, except for the kitchen and bathroom.
