The solar balcony panel is super light, extremely thin and can be attached to your balcony railing in less than 5 minutes. Then just plug it into the outside socket - and green solar power is already flowing through your cable.
Sounds almost too simple to be true, doesn't it? But you can take our word for it: the solar revolution is child's play.
The 2m wide panel generates around 220kWh of solar energy per year (mounted directly on the railing of a south-facing balcony). If you can tilt the panel, you can even achieve 300kWh. Here in Basel, this saves you more than 100CHF a year. This is because you can simply supply continuous consumers such as the fridge and Internet box from the balcony.
