With a Zaptec chip, you have the option of authenticating a user to the charging station and "unlocking" the charging station to start charging.
The Zaptec chip uses Radio Frequency Identification (RFID) or Near Field Communication (NFC).
Access is granted by the owner of the facility or their payment service provider.
Registering the Zaptec chip
Registration takes place in the app, in the portal or with the payment provider.
Supports the following charging stations, among others:
- Zaptec Pro
- Zaptec Go
- ZapCharger Pro
- Zaptec Home
