The EcoMate Wall offers you the opportunity to use solar energy efficiently on walls, fences or other vertical surfaces. Installation is simple and space-saving, so you can start generating energy quickly.

Vertical mounting ensures that less dirt remains on the solar panels. This increases the efficiency of the system, as clean solar cells work more effectively. In winter, the system also benefits from the reflective effect of the snow, which increases the solar radiation.

The integrated inverter is already installed on the back of the solar panel, which makes installation easier. After installation, simply connect the power cable to a socket and the system feeds the generated energy into your home's power grid.

By using solar energy, you significantly reduce your electricity costs, as your electrical appliances prefer the solar power generated. Surplus energy is automatically and maintenance-free fed into the public grid, allowing you to make additional savings.

Register Plug & Play system with the local energy supplier

Plug & Play solar systems must be registered with the local electricity company. You can find the necessary declaration of conformity here in the download area.

Feed-in remuneration

In terms of economic efficiency, it is crucial that as much solar power as possible is consumed directly by the customer. However, surplus electricity can be fed into the grid, for which the grid operator must pay a feed-in tariff. Please contact your responsible grid operator for the feed-in tariff. You will need a smart meter for the feed-in tariff. Once you have registered with the grid operator, they will check whether a meter needs to be replaced. If this is the case, you will be contacted accordingly. The meter change is free of charge for you.

Frequently asked questions (FAQs):

• Does the EcoMate balcony power station comply with the relevant regulations in Switzerland? Yes, of course! Unlike other balcony power station sellers, EET, as the developer and manufacturer of the LightMate and SolMate systems, confirms compliance with the relevant EU standards and regulations in its declarations of conformity.

• Are there subsidies for the purchase of the EcoMate balcony power plant? Subsidies for balcony power plants (mini PV systems) are granted individually and by some municipalities. It is best to enquire at your local authority, there may already be something suitable!

• Do I need an electrician for installation? No! The LightMate can be installed by anyone within 30-40 minutes. Simply mount it, plug it in and reduce your electricity costs.

• How long is the cable for the mains connection? The cable has a length of 5 meters. You can extend it as much as you like with an extension cable suitable for outdoor use. It is important that the plug connection is protected against splashing water, e.g. with a Dribox. Both are available from DIY stores.
• What maintenance costs are incurred? There are no additional costs during operation. The device is therefore maintenance-free.
• How long is my warranty? The solar panels (rigid modules) have a performance guarantee of 25 years. But even if the components have reached the end of their service life, they are far from broken. End of life means that the panels still have 80% of their original output. The inverter and battery components have a product guarantee of 10 years.
