The EcoMate Stand offers you a compact, robust and efficient way to use solar energy in the garden, on the patio or on a flat roof. With its variable installation at an angle of 25° or 65°, the EcoMate Stand ensures optimum performance in summer and winter.

With the EcoMate Stand, you can use your own solar energy efficiently by mounting the solar panel on flat surfaces such as the garden, terrace or flat roof. The specially designed steel brackets allow secure installation at angles of 25° or 65° to achieve optimal orientation for summer and winter months.

The inverter is already installed on the back of the solar panel, which simplifies and speeds up installation. After installation, simply connect the power cable to a socket and the system feeds the generated energy into your home grid.

This significantly reduces your electricity costs, as your electrical appliances primarily use the solar power generated. Surplus energy is automatically and maintenance-free fed into the public grid, allowing you to make additional savings.

Register your Plug & Play system with your local energy supplier

Plug & Play solar systems must be registered with the local electricity company. The necessary declaration of conformity can be found here in the download area.

Feed-in tariff

In terms of economic efficiency, it is crucial that as much solar power as possible is consumed directly by the customer. However, surplus electricity can be fed into the grid, for which the grid operator must pay a feed-in tariff. Please contact your responsible grid operator for the feed-in tariff. You will need a smart meter for the feed-in tariff. Once you have registered with the grid operator, they will check whether a meter needs to be replaced. If this is the case, you will be contacted accordingly. The meter change is free of charge for you.

Frequently asked questions (FAQs):

• Does the EcoMate balcony power station comply with the relevant regulations in Switzerland? Yes, of course! Unlike other balcony power station sellers, EET, as the developer and manufacturer of the LightMate and SolMate systems, confirms compliance with the relevant EU standards and regulations in its declarations of conformity.

• Are there subsidies for the purchase of the EcoMate balcony power plant? Subsidies for balcony power plants (mini PV systems) are granted individually and by some municipalities. It is best to enquire at your local authority, there may already be something suitable!

• Do I need an electrician for installation? No! The LightMate can be installed by anyone within 30-40 minutes. Simply mount it, plug it in and reduce your electricity costs.

• How long is the cable for the mains connection? The cable has a length of 5 meters. You can extend it as much as you like with an extension cable suitable for outdoor use. It is important that the plug connection is protected against splashing water, e.g. with a Dribox. Both are available from DIY stores.
• What maintenance costs are incurred? There are no additional costs during operation. The device is therefore maintenance-free.
• How long is my warranty? The solar panels (rigid modules) have a performance guarantee of 25 years. But even if the components have reached the end of their service life, they are far from broken. End of life means that the panels still have 80% of their original output. The inverter and battery components have a product guarantee of 10 years.
