Product information
Balcony power station flex set 640W
Plug in, save electricity, protect the environment.
With our 160 Watt Flex, we offer you an ideal solution if you are looking for a flexible and easy-to-install solar panel for your balcony. With its low weight of 2.6 kg, you can easily install it yourself without outside help. The integrated eyelets make installation child's play. The mounting material is included.
Latest technology
Our 160 watt solar panel uses one of the latest technologies in the field of solar cell construction. The shingle technology. It offers many advantages, especially for partial shading. The innovative design means that shading is less of an issue.
The shingle cells are combined into many smaller groups, also known as strings, and connected in parallel. As a result, only the shaded strings supply less power, while the sunny part continues to supply electricity unaffected.
Especially for balcony railings
We have based the format of our 160 Watt Flex directly on balcony railings to make installation as easy as possible for you. We have chosen the 101 x 89 cm format so that you can mount it horizontally or vertically. If you mount it upright, you can bring the connection cables together almost invisibly at the bottom.

Solution for tenants
Would you like to produce your own solar power, but aren't sure what you need to consider?
The following applies here: Tenants need the landlord's consent for everything that is installed outside the rental property (specifically: outside the balcony railing or the façade). This is because the landlord (and not the tenant) could be held liable in the event of any damage caused by a falling solar panel. This has often meant that tenants have not received permission and have therefore not had the benefit of balcony solar installations.
Landlords can grant permission on the condition that the panels are installed professionally and that tenants assume liability for any damage. A model agreement was drawn up for this purpose together with Casafair and the tenants' association.
