Aqara G3 Security Kit with Camera Hub and 3 Door/Window Sensors
The Aqara Security Kit G3 combines smart video surveillance with reliable door and window monitoring. The kit consists of an Aqara Camera Hub G3 and three Aqara T1 door/window sensors, offering a convenient all-in-one solution for enhanced security and smart automation in the home.
The Aqara Camera Hub G3 combines a high-resolution 2K camera with an integrated Zigbee 3.0 hub. The camera delivers a resolution of 2304 × 1296 pixels and features a 110° wide-angle lens as well as a motorized pan-and-tilt function. This allows for monitoring of a large area of the room.
Thanks to local AI capabilities, the camera hub can recognize faces, gestures, and pets. The detected events can be used for notifications and smart home automations . In addition, the G3 supports dual-band Wi-Fi at 2.4 and 5 GHz as well as the WPA3 Wi-Fi security standard.
Door and Window Monitoring with 3 Sensors
The three included Aqara T1 door/window sensors detect whether doors, windows, or other movable elements are opened or closed. The sensors communicate with the hub via Zigbee 3.0 and can be used to trigger notifications or custom smart home automations.
In addition to doors and windows, the compact sensors can also be used, for example, on drawers or cabinets. The maximum detection distance between the sensor unit and the magnet is 22 mm.
Smart Home Hub and Security Camera in One
The G3 Camera Hub also serves as a central control unit for compatible Aqara devices. Via the integrated Zigbee 3.0 hub, additional Aqara sensors and controllers can be integrated and used for custom automations. This allows the security kit to be expanded into a more comprehensive smart home system as needed.
The system supports Apple Home, Amazon Alexa, and Google Home, among others. For local video storage, a microSD card with up to 128 GB can be used; the memory card is not included.
