In addition to the room temperature, the thermostat also measures the relative humidity in the room and warns you visually if the value is exceeded. Both the temperature and humidity measurements can be used as triggers for individual automations, e.g. to receive ventilation reminders or to automatically control shutters and humidifiers or dehumidifiers.
