The dimmer is invisible in the wall: it is simply installed behind existing push-buttons or in junction boxes - with weatherproof installation boxes (IP66) even outdoors. The dimmer also acts as a repeater, amplifying the radio signal of certain Bosch Smart Home devices. This extends the range of the Bosch Smart Home system and enables devices to be used at a greater distance from the controller (e.g. in the basement).
The smart dimmer can be integrated into Apple HomeKit, Amazon and Google Home. This means it can also be combined with compatible devices from other manufacturers.

Additional information:
- A depth of at least 50mm is required for installation in flush-mounted boxes. For optimum installation, a box depth of 60mm or more is recommended.
