The solar power plant with 375 watts makes you partially independent of grid electricity. You can produce your own solar power and reduce your electricity costs. This Plug & Play solar system is easy to install. All you have to do is plug the individual parts together and connect them to your outdoor socket. Thanks to the 5 meter cable with Swiss plug, this is very easy.

Starter set for off-grid power supply

This solar power station set for the balcony is a good starter set for off-grid power supply. The solar modules in the sets are designed to fit any conventional balcony railing.

Module inverter with app - feed-in via the socket

The 300 watt module inverter in the set is designed in accordance with the CH standards of ESTI and feeds a maximum of 300W power into the existing socket. The microinverter can be connected directly to the external socket via the AC connection and the appropriate cable.

Can be installed by yourself without a permit

In Switzerland, it is currently permitted to install small Plug & Play systems up to a maximum output power of 600W yourself without a permit, provided that the grid operator is informed about the operation of the solar system. Larger systems must be installed by a specialist.

When installing the system, please note that only one Plug&Play system may be connected per external socket. The external sockets are normally protected by an RCD.

Solution for tenants

Would you like to produce your own solar power but are not sure what you need to consider?

The following applies here: Tenants need the landlord's consent for everything that is installed outside the rented property (specifically: outside the balcony railing or the façade). This is because the landlord (and not the tenant) could be held liable in the event of any damage caused by a falling solar panel. This has often meant that tenants have not received permission and have therefore not had the benefit of balcony solar installations.

Landlords can grant permission on the condition that the panels are installed professionally and that tenants assume liability for any damage. A model agreement was drawn up for this purpose together with Casafair and the tenants' association.
