I recently received the LightMate by DHL and was excited to try out the new solar panel. I unpacked the box on the lawn and read the operating instructions first. The assembly instructions were very simple and clearly described, so that the assembly went off without a hitch.

As we wanted to mount the solar panel permanently, we didn't need a special bracket. We installed the solar panel on the roof of our garden shed and fixed it in place. After installation, the solar panel only needed to be plugged in. There is an LED display on the back of the panel that shows the amount of electricity currently being produced. To monitor the electricity production even more closely, we plugged a MyStrom Switch in between and connected it to the WLAN. This allows us to see how much electricity the solar panel is currently producing at any time and from anywhere.
