Personal data

Personal data designate all data referring to a specific or ascertainable (natural or legal) person. This includes information such as first and surnames, salutation, postal address, email address, phone number, IP address and similar information.

Collection and storage of personal data

Depending on the website, using certain services requires registration and setting up a user account. Personal data, such as first and surnames, email address and, possibly, additional data will be collected and stored upon registration.
Personal data will furthermore be collected and stored where necessary for orders, utilisation of services, participation in competitions, etc.

Utilisation and dissemination of personal data

Upon entering your personal data, you state your agreement that Primeo Commerce and companies of the Primeo Energie Group may use your personal data for the following purposes:

for fulfilling and processing contractual and legal obligations
for verifying access authorisation and administration of user account (provided user has registered)
for billing purposes
for developing and maintaining client relations
for customised definitions and improvements of offers and products
for analysing individual energy consumption and user behaviour
for sending out regional information, for marketing purposes and advertisement.

Primeo Commerce can also have third parties process such personal data to this extend. It will hereby make sure that data security is guaranteed.
Your data can also be passed on to the owner of the main domain (www.primeo-energie.ch).

Declaration of consent to credit and risk assessment

In order to decide whether delivery can be made on invoice, an address and creditworthiness check is carried out. Personal data relevant to the processing of the order and payment may be transmitted to Schweizerischer Verband Creditreform Gen and also to partner companies for this purpose. The Creditreform Data Protection Declaration (DPD) applies in this regard.

Non-personal user data

When using websites, web servers will store non-personal user data, so-called log files. These log files contain your IP address, the most recently visited website, the used browser, data, time and requested file and/or website. Primeo Commerce will analyse these non-personal data for detecting trends, generating statistics and for improving offers and products in the browser and the displaying devices and/or for best the possible adaptation to user demands.

Cookies

The websites use cookies. A cookie is a short text file stored on your device serving to analyse website usage and to store settings in-between visits. Cookies do not contain any personal data.
Most browsers are configured to accept cookies automatically. However, you have the option to set your browser to generally reject cookies by choosing “reject cookies” in your browser settings. In such case, not all website functions might be fully available for your usage.

For analysing user behaviour, Primeo Commerce integrates various analysis tools using cookies and other methods. These comprise:

If you contact our customer service, your request will be processed via the Zendesk software (1019 Market St, San Francisco, CA 94103, USA). Your e-mail address will be stored and any other personal data that you provide in your inquiry.
If you register for the newsletter, we will forward the data necessary for sending the newsletter to Mailchimp (The Rocket Science Group, LLC, 675 Ponce de Leon Ave NE, Suite 5000, Atlanta, GA 30308 USA). This data is used exclusively for sending newsletters. In each newsletter, you have the option to unsubscribe from the distribution list.
Google Analytics, a web analytics service provided by Google Inc. (more information about Google Analytics and how to deactivate the service can be found here). The information generated by the cookies about your use of these web pages is transmitted to a Google server and stored there. This server may be located outside of Switzerland (in the case of Google Analytics, in the USA). Google uses this information for the purpose of evaluating your use of the websites, compiling reports on website activity for Primeo Commerce and providing other services relating to website activity and internet usage. If necessary, this information will be passed on to third parties if this is required by law or if third parties process this data on behalf of the tool providers.
We have implemented Google Analytics IP address anonymization on this website. This feature was developed by Google to enable this website to comply with applicable data protection regulations and recommendations of local data protection authorities when they prohibit storage of the full IP address. The anonymization or masking of the IP takes place as soon as the IP addresses arrive in the Google Analytics data collection network and before any storage or processing of the data takes place. Google Analytics Remarketing: Our websites use the functions of Google Analytics Remarketing in conjunction with the cross-device functions of Google Ads and Google DoubleClick. The provider is Google Inc, 1600 Amphitheatre Parkway, Mountain View, CA 94043, USA.
This function makes it possible to link the advertising target groups created with Google Analytics Remarketing with the cross-device functions of Google Ads and Google DoubleClick. In this way, interest-based, personalized advertising messages that have been adapted to you depending on your previous usage and surfing behavior on one end device (e.g. cell phone) can also be displayed on another of your end devices (e.g. tablet or PC). If you have given your consent, Google will link your web and app browsing history with your Google account for this purpose. In this way, the same personalized advertising messages can be served on every device on which you log in with your Google account. To support this feature, Google Analytics collects Google-authenticated IDs of users, which are temporarily linked to our Google Analytics data to define and create target groups for cross-device ad advertising.

Basis The aggregation of the collected data in your Google account is based solely on your consent, which you can give or revoke at Google (Art. 6 para. 1 lit. a DSGVO). Google Ads and Google Conversion Tracking: Our websites use Google Ads. Ads is an online advertising program of Google Inc, 1600 Amphitheatre Parkway, Mountain View, CA 94043, United States ("Google").
Within the framework of Google Ads, we use the so-called conversion tracking. When you click on an ad placed by Google, a cookie is set for conversion tracking. Cookies are small text files that the internet browser stores on the user's computer. These cookies lose their validity after 30 days and are not used to personally identify the user. If the user visits certain pages of this website and the cookie has not yet expired, Google and we can recognize that the user clicked on the ad and was redirected to this page. You will then not be included in the conversion tracking statistics.
Facebook Pixel, Facebook Custom Audiences and Facebook Conversion: Within our online offer, the so-called "Facebook Pixel" of the social network Facebook, which is operated by Facebook Inc., 1 Hacker Way, Menlo Park, CA 94025, USA, or if you are a resident of the EU, Facebook Ireland Ltd, 4 Grand Canal Square, Grand Canal Harbour, Dublin 2, Ireland ("Facebook"), is used.

Right to information

The Data Protection Act grants you the right to find out free of charge whether and what personal data the platform operator is processing about you. You also have the right to have incorrect data corrected and deleted. This is subject to statutory retention obligations.
